It is really Spring !!!!! REALLY !!!!

Here are some daffodils from my garden.
I have enjoyed them more than ever this year.
They seem to last longer than tulips.
This first picture is a typical daffodil. The next two are a little different, kind of fancy don't you think?

Next are a few tulips that are my favorites.

MORE SPRING !!!

More signs of Spring. These crocuses had to work hard to come out from under a rock. Neat!!

These small blue flowers are called Chiondoxa, I think they are a type of Crocus. They are so pretty, they usually have pink tulips next to them, but I guess the tulips will be later this year.

Guila Robinson Olsen's Birthday

This is my favorite picture of my Mother. Today is her birthday. She would have been 90 years old today. I thought about her all day. For some reason she has been on my mind quite a bit this past week. I couldn't help remember the sacrifices she made for me, what she ment to me and the things she taught me...
...all the things she made, all the things she did, all the things she said, and so much more.

I miss her so much !!!
Here is the last blossom of my Amarillis, I can't believe how pretty it is.

Notice the neat peach colored stripes in the leaves.

I was checking out my garden today. You know, looking at the tulips to see how they are growing. Quite by accident, I spotted these out in the west garden. I couldn't believe my eyes. I quickly got my camera and took these pictures. This must be quite an old bunch of crocus' because there are about 30 blossoms there.
I'm so glad I saw these today, and to think I almost missed them.

Yes, I can cook.....this

First you prepare all the ingredients.
Black forest ham on the left, pepper jack cheese on the right.

Peppers on the left, tomatoes on the right.
Note: These are frozen peppers and tomatoes from last fall.
(I can't eat the tomatoes from the store)
I cleaned them, quartered them and put them in plastic containers, then froze them.
They are pretty good for salsa and omlets.

Three 'homemade eggs'. My friend Joan has chickens and she gave me these eggs. YUM !!!!

I mixed the eggs with a little pepper and salt, then poured them in a pan with a little canola oil.

Next, put the ham, cheese and peppers in.

Finished in the pan, it looks more like a pancake, but it's not !!!!!

This looks great, right? Well it tasted pretty good too.
The jam is Raspberry/Strawberry and the garnish is sprouts.

As many of you know, I really can't cook. I tell everyone that I have 8 recipes. Actually, I have 199 recipes on my recipe a week blog, that others have given me. I still need more, so please contribute!!! Check by recipe blog out here.
