BIRTHDAY PARTY INFORMATION

So here you are.
Looking for extra points for my birthday scavenger hunt.
So here are ways you can earn extra points.
1. Help a stranger. (limit 30 strangers) 5 extra points per stranger
2. Do a really good deed, do this secretly. 25 extra points per good deed. NO ONE MUST KNOW !!!!! (Limit 30 good deeds)
3. Plant a tree (limit 30 trees) 50 points per tree
4. Plant tulips (limit 30 tulips) 5 points per tulip
5. Bring a tres leche cake to my party. 50 points
6. Bring someone new to the party. 50 points (no limit) This has to be someone that has never attended one of my partys before.
7. Bring a thoughtful but cheap gift. (Just kidding) 25 points. IF THIS GIFT IS HOMEMADE ADD 25 ADDITIONAL POINTS.

Pams Palisades Party

Here are a few pictures I took last year in July at Palisades. I have more infomation about the party below. I hope you can come !!!!!!!!

This post is for my party.
To earn an extra 50 points that go toward the scavenger hunt, email me 5 extra recipes.
To earn an extra 40 points read and comment on three of my Garden Blog entries.
To earn an extra 30 points, have someone read and comment on my Garden Blog.
To earn an extra 100 points, bring a tres leches milk cake. (not sure how to keep it refrigerated, but do what you can).

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers, Flowers and more Flowers

I hope you are ready to look at lots of tulips, here we go.

These tulips are so cute. This is there first year, they are kind of tiny.

This is a type of Lily. It blossoms kind of upside down.

This is a flower bed by the driveway.

It has been planted about three years.

This year it finally filled in and looks GREAT !!

Lots more daffodils, notice the lighting on this one.

Groups of tulips. This first group is Darwin tulips.

They were my Mothers' favorite.

She always told me to grow that varitey.

This is there second year, they have long stems and I think they are beautiful.

This group is 10 years old. Some people divide tulips but I never do.

They seem to be a little smaller, but I love the large groups.

Reflection

As I looked out my east window this morning, the sun was just coming up.

My garden bench looked so peaceful with the flowers beginning to bloom.

The grass is finally green. Green is such a wonderful Spring color.

Shaker is learning to stalk birds. He looks so sneaky here.

A small beautiful tulip, this is it's first year.

Greenhouse - Cold Frame

I planted my greenhouse garden today.

As you can tell by the photographs, I did kind of a square foot garden.

I planted four types of carrots, five types of radishes,

seed onions and 66 onion sets and several other things.

I couldn't believe how much I could plant in a 3' X 4' area.

I will keep you posted.
